I am writing about Wattpad today, a site where storytellers can write and be seen. The way they put it: Wattpad is a place to discover and share stories: a social platform that connects people through words. It is a community that spans borders, interests, languages. With Wattpad, anyone can read or write on any device: phone, tablet, or computer. Wattpad stories are free. Whether you’re online or off, use the devices you already own to carry an entire library wherever you go.
A dear friend of ours is writing there and I have begun following, Andi a.k.a. CannibalCarrots, is a wonderful weaver of tales. I am working through Lullaby at the moment. I am an extremely slow reader, but with books and stories being available more conveniently now-a-days... I do more reading than I ever did!
This website is Made in Canada, their blog is here: http://blog.wattpad.com/ They have a Haiku contest going at the moment. I suggest you take a look at what they have to offer, if you are a writer of stories, or just and avid reader.
